Noteworthy: Designed and manufactured the KV-1/ KV-2 series of Soviet heavy tanks.
The KV series were known for their extremely heavy armour protection, especially during the first year of the invasion of the Soviet Union in WWII. — the KV-1 tank was the heaviest tank in service any where in the world when it debuted.
Later in the war, the KV series became a base of development of the Iosif Stalin tanks.
